Plastics Hub is a building plastic supplies start-up based in Solihull and provide roofing plastics like fascia, soffit & guttering, as well as PVC bathroom panels.
They'd already experimented with Google Ads coming onboard, but performance was inconsistent, ROAS was poor & revenue remained relatively low.
Their campaigns lacked structure, budget was being wasted on low-intent traffic & coverage across products & audiences was limited.

We rebuilt the account structure to improve keyword targeting, reduce duplication & ensure the most relevant ads appeared for the right searches.
We also rolled out a huge number of negative keywords to reduce wasting spend on searches that weren't bringing in sales.
This helped improve efficiency & gave campaign learning algorithms clearer intent signals to optimise around.
Our focus was expansion & maximum coverage of the search results.
Targeting relevant people when they were in research, consideration & purchase mode & following them if they weren't quite ready to buy.
We expanded across:
Search campaigns covering brand, guttering, shower panel & roofing plastic keywords.
Smart Shopping utilising Google's smart-bidding algorithms to optimise for revenue with a ROAS target.
Display remarketing campaigns following unconverted users with branded ads to stay top of mind, coupled with Dynamic Product Remarketing following users with product-specific ads they had engaged with on the website.
CSS Shopping with Cobiro to ensure maximum space on the shopping results page & for 20% discounted CPCs.
The website was already in good shape but we identified a missed opportunity in the large number of cart abandoners.
Alongside our thorough remarketing strategy to stay top of mind in those potential customer's minds, we also introduced abandoned cart recovery features to the site itself & saw a signifcant jump in revenue for the same ad spend.
Over the first year with us, Plastics Hub grew from only generating a few thousand pounds per month in revenue to achieving £1.43M in revenue.
Since then, they have consistenly seen revenue months of between £300K - £500K & reached up to 12x Return On Ad Spend (ROAS) during strongest-performing periods.
