Safe2Stay launched during the Covid lockdowns with a product designed to help businesses & consumers sanitise indoor spaces quickly and effectively.

However, advertising products connected to Covid-19 came with heavy Google Ads restrictions & compliance requirements, making it difficult to launch campaigns successfully without repeated disapprovals.

We worked closely with the client to navigate Google’s advertising policies, helping secure the required approvals & certifications needed to advertise within the category compliantly.

What We Did

Campaign Launch & Audience Targeting

Once approved, we launched a full Google Ads strategy focused on both B2C and B2B audiences.

Alongside standard search campaigns, we built tailored campaigns targeting industries actively looking for sanitisation solutions during lockdown periods. This included hospitality businesses, salons, taxis, vehicle-based businesses, hotels & Airbnb properties.

Rather than relying on generic messaging, ad copy was tailored around the specific environments each audience was trying to disinfect, helping improve relevance & conversion performance.

We also launched display retargeting campaigns to stay visible to users who had visited the website but hadn’t yet purchased, helping keep the brand front of mind during a highly competitive period.

The Result

The campaigns launched in June with 21 sales during the first month. By the following month, sales had increased to 172 purchases while maintaining strong engagement metrics across the account, including:
